This site is located on the corner of Independence Blvd and 4th St.  The dirt on this site was contaminated.  We removed and hauled the dirt to an approved dump.  We hauled structural fill back in to bring the site to grade.  We also installed sidewalk around the parameter of the building and the entrance road that runs from Independence Blvd to Torrance Ave.

Ardrey Crest is a 53-acre (181 lots) development located off Wade Ardrey Road near Marvin Road in South Mecklenburg County.  This job was a challenge for us.  Before starting this job, the soils were tested and the tests showed a considerable amount of high plastic soils on this job.  We decided due to past experience that it would be more economical for us to lime treat the soil on site rather than muck out and replace.  This job allowed us to purchase lime treatment equipment and start a lime division just for our own use.  This job required over 5000 tons of lime.
